If you remember being in school, then you can remember the stress that comes with completing assignments or even trying to complete something you weren't sure how to do.
But what about the kids who are in school now, or who you're around, that can't communicate through their writing the way they should or want to?
If writing is something you're passionate about, and want the kids who you influence to be passionate about as well, then why not try to help them?
Leading kids to better writing skills can improve their communication and even their self-expression.
But how can you help a kid learn to write who doesn't want to?
Make it fun.
Switch up what they read or what they write.
Keep what you want them to do short, so they don't become overwhelmed.
Remember when you're teaching kids to write that writing might not be for everyone. No matter how much you love your craft, it's quite possible the kids around you find it torturous.
With the ever-increasing wave of technology, kids seem to be writing less and less these days, and don't seem to be as into art or literature as they once were. Perhaps we could change this if we could make kids fall in love with art and literature again.
Here are some links of tips to help kids read and write!
There are even kits online you can buy for kids to help them.
